Job description:
Join our fast-paced warehouse team and keep our supply chain moving! We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Worker to play a key role in receiving, storing, and shipping products.
Requirements:
- We are seeking someone who can clearly and concisely express their thoughts both verbally and in writing.
- We are seeking someone who is capable of performing physical labor, such as lifting and moving heavy objects, for extended periods of time.
- The candidate must be focused and capable of working meticulously to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Prior experience in a role requiring problem-solving and decision-making skills is a plus.
- The candidate must be systematic and possess the ability to keep the workspace organized.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement within the warehouse, aiming for increased efficiency.
- Unpack deliveries, inspect items for damage or defects, and record any issues for further action.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and retrieve products efficiently.
- Verify incoming products against documentation, identifying any deviations and notifying supervisors for resolution.
- Perform inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and implement stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
- Assemble and prepare products for shipping, ensuring they match the order specifications and are ready for dispatch.
- Prioritize safety by using proper techniques and equipment, and reporting any potential hazards within the warehouse.
- Sort and label products according to their type and designated storage location within the warehouse.
- Contribute to a safe and functional work environment by keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
