Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to protect our assets and personnel. The role involves patrolling the premises, observing for suspicious activities, and providing assistance during emergencies. Key duties include verifying visitor identification, reporting security breaches, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Previous experience in a similar role and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures (preferred but not required)
- Conflict resolution skills to defuse tense situations
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or security management
- Valid security guard license or certification (if required by local regulations)
Responsibilities:
- Participating in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to security practices and procedures.
- Responding to employee or visitor inquiries and providing information or assistance as needed.
- Escorting employees, visitors, or contractors to and from designated areas as needed.
- Conducting vehicle patrols of parking lots or other outdoor areas to prevent theft or vandalism.
- Enforcing access control procedures by verifying the identity of individuals and issuing visitor passes or badges.
