Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Environmental consciousness to minimize waste and promote sustainable farming practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Respect for plants and agricultural practices
- Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers
- Attention to detail in harvesting ripe cucumbers
Responsibilities:
- Handling harvested cucumbers with care to avoid damage or bruising.
- Cleaning and sanitizing harvesting tools and equipment after use.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the greenhouse workspace.
- Communicating any feedback or suggestions for improving harvesting processes.
- Participating in training sessions or workshops to improve harvesting techniques and skills.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
