Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Attention to cleanliness to maintain hygiene standards during harvesting activities
- Ability to work efficiently to meet production quotas
- Familiarity with different cucumber varieties and their harvesting requirements
- Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed, such as pruning or cleaning
- Eagerness to learn and improve harvesting skills through on-the-job training and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handling harvested cucumbers with care to avoid damage or bruising.
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
- Contributing to the overall success and productivity of the greenhouse operation.
- Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
- Stacking and organizing packed containers for storage or shipping.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
