Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated Greenhouse Worker for cucumber production. The role involves daily care of cucumber plants, including planting, watering, and pest management to ensure high-quality produce.
Requirements:
- Initiative to report any issues or concerns with crop quality or greenhouse conditions
- Commitment to following food safety protocols during harvesting and handling processes
- Ability to work in a greenhouse environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to varying greenhouse conditions, such as temperature and humidity
Responsibilities:
- Labeling containers with relevant information such as harvest date and variety.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork mindset while working with colleagues.
- Using appropriate harvesting tools such as pruning shears or knives to carefully cut cucumbers from the vine.
- Following instructions and guidelines provided by greenhouse management or supervisors.
- Working efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
