Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated Greenhouse Worker for cucumber production. The role involves daily care of cucumber plants, including planting, watering, and pest management to ensure high-quality produce.
Requirements:
- Adaptability to varying greenhouse conditions, such as temperature and humidity
- Basic understanding of plant health and signs of disease or pest infestation
- Patience and careful handling to avoid bruising or damaging harvested cucumbers
- Familiarity with different cucumber varieties and their harvesting requirements
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork mindset while working with colleagues.
- Using appropriate harvesting tools such as pruning shears or knives to carefully cut cucumbers from the vine.
- Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
- Cleaning and sanitizing harvesting tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborating with other greenhouse workers to coordinate harvesting activities and optimize efficiency.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
