Job description:
As a Fire Truck Driver/Operator, you will play a crucial role in our fire response team, driving and operating specialized vehicles in emergency situations. This role requires maintaining essential fire suppression and rescue skills, performing equipment checks, and participating in training exercises. You must be certified to operate all fire vehicles on base and may serve as Lead Firefighter when needed.

- Good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Familiarity with firefighting equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other emergency response agencies.
- Provide assistance and support to the public during emergencies.
- Monitor water levels and pressure during firefighting operations.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations, including driving at high speeds when necessary.
- Handle and resolve conflicts or emergencies at emergency scenes.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
