Job description:
We are hiring a Fire Truck Driver/Operator to ensure the safety and efficiency of our fire response operations. You will be tasked with operating fire vehicles, conducting equipment inspections, and participating in fire suppression efforts. Certification as a Fire Officer I and training on all fire apparatus are mandatory. You may also be temporarily assigned to leadership roles within the team.
Requirements:
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Certification in emergency vehicle operation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain physical fitness and readiness for duty.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other firefighters.
- Position fire trucks strategically at emergency scenes.
- Handle and resolve conflicts or emergencies at emergency scenes.
- Follow protocols and procedures for firefighting operations.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
