Job description:
Join our fire response team as a Fire Truck Driver/Operator, where you will be responsible for driving and maintaining fire vehicles, conducting routine inspections, and supporting fire suppression activities. You will need to obtain certification for all fire apparatus on base and may assist in leading training exercises. The role requires a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Experience in defensive driving techniques.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate emergency response vehicles safely.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Position fire trucks strategically at emergency scenes.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of fire trucks and equipment.
- Safely operate fire trucks to respond to emergency calls.
- Continuously improve firefighting skills and knowledge of fire suppression techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of fire trucks and equipment.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
