Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Safety awareness to prevent accidents or injuries while handling plants and equipment
- Respect for plants and agricultural practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak harvesting seasons
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
- Familiarity with different cucumber varieties and their harvesting requirements
Responsibilities:
- Packing harvested cucumbers into crates, boxes, or containers for transport.
- Inspecting cucumber plants for ripe fruits ready for harvesting.
- Identifying and addressing any problems or challenges related to cucumber harvesting.
- Contributing to the overall success and productivity of the greenhouse operation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the greenhouse workspace.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
