Job description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to seniors in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our elderly clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with respect and dignity.
Requirements:
- Ability to safely transfer and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Familiarity with the challenges and needs of the elderly population.
- Ability to work with clients who may have cognitive or physical limitations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and techniques.
- A warm and caring personality with a strong sense of empathy.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to providing consistent and reliable care.
Responsibilities:
- Observe for any side effects or adverse reactions and report them promptly.
- Document medication administration, vital signs, and any incidents or concerns.
- Help prevent falls and injuries through careful assistance and monitoring.
- Help maintain personal appearance and cleanliness.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals and snacks that meet the client's dietary needs and preferences.
- Organize personal belongings and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Participate in activities and hobbies that the client enjoys.
- Take proactive steps to prevent falls, injuries, and accidents.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
