Job description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to our elderly patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our elderly residents, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
- Energy and stamina to keep up with the demands of the job.
- Punctuality and adherence to schedules.
- Ability to work with clients who may have cognitive or physical limitations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- A genuine desire to help and care for others, especially the elderly.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and effective care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with feeding and encourage adequate hydration.
- Document medication administration, vital signs, and any incidents or concerns.
- Accompany the client and provide assistance as needed.
- Ensure medications are taken correctly and at the prescribed times.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and dusting.
- Provide respectful and dignified assistance with personal hygiene needs.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
- Help prevent falls and injuries through careful assistance and monitoring.
- Provide emotional support and a listening ear.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
