Job description:
As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. Your duties include following safety protocols, performing routine maintenance on the crane, and coordinating with ground crews to ensure accurate and safe operations. Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination are essential.
Requirements:
- Good vision and hearing.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Knowledge of signal and warning devices.
Responsibilities:
- Follow signals and instructions from the ground crew.
- Communicate with the ground crew.
- Understand and follow lift plans.
- Handle various weather conditions.
- Follow load charts and lifting capacities.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
