Job description:
As a Tower Crane Operator, you will operate a tower crane to move and place construction materials at height on large-scale projects. Your duties include managing crane operations from a fixed control cabin, coordinating with signalers, and ensuring the safety of all personnel on site. Experience with high-rise construction is preferred.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Ability to handle stress and remain calm.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and dispatch.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in safety meetings and training.
- Coordinate with site managers and other operators.
- Follow signals and instructions from the ground crew.
- Operate the crane to lift and move materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
