Job description:
Join our fire response team as a Fire Truck Driver/Operator, where you will be responsible for driving and maintaining fire vehicles, conducting routine inspections, and supporting fire suppression activities. You will need to obtain certification for all fire apparatus on base and may assist in leading training exercises. The role requires a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Continuing education in emergency vehicle operation.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to other firefighters as needed.
- Maintain physical fitness and readiness for duty.
- Safely operate fire trucks to respond to emergency calls.
- Position fire trucks strategically at emergency scenes.
- Handle and resolve conflicts or emergencies at emergency scenes.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
