Job description:
Looking for a Security Guard to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our property, monitoring entrances and exits, and ensuring the safety of our staff and visitors. Responsibilities include performing security checks, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents. A background in security, strong problem-solving skills, and a professional demeanor are required.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Strong observation skills
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures (preferred but not required)
- Customer service skills for interacting with clients and visitors
- Understanding of legal responsibilities and limitations as a security guard
Responsibilities:
- Responding to alarms or disturbances and taking appropriate action to investigate and resolve issues.
- Writing detailed reports documenting security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
- Conducting vehicle patrols of parking lots or other outdoor areas to prevent theft or vandalism.
- Escorting employees, visitors, or contractors to and from designated areas as needed.
- Collaborating with other security personnel to coordinate efforts and share information.
