Job description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented CCTV Operator to monitor and maintain our security surveillance system. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our premises by observing live and recorded video feeds, reporting any suspicious activities, and maintaining accurate logs.
Requirements:
- Initiative to proactively identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving issues with monitoring equipment
- Teamwork skills for coordinating with other security personnel
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues or system malfunctions
- Ability to monitor multiple screens or feeds simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Communicating effectively with external agencies, such as law enforcement or emergency services, as needed.
- Collaborating with other members of the security team to ensure comprehensive coverage and response.
- Monitoring security cameras, alarms, and access control systems to identify potential security threats or breaches.
- Documenting all activities and communications related to security monitoring and response.
- Notifying appropriate authorities or stakeholders of significant security incidents or breaches.
