Job description:
Our company is hiring a CCTV Operator to safeguard our premises through constant monitoring of our CCTV system. The role includes detecting and reporting suspicious activities, ensuring the functionality of surveillance equipment, and working closely with the security team.
Requirements:
- Training and certification in security monitoring systems (preferred but not required)
- Flexibility in work hours, including night shifts and weekends
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues or system malfunctions
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations regarding surveillance
- Proficiency in operating security monitoring systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarms
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing security footage and other data to identify patterns or trends in security incidents.
- Dispatching security personnel or emergency responders to incidents or emergencies as needed.
- Communicating effectively with external agencies, such as law enforcement or emergency services, as needed.
- Collaborating with other members of the security team to ensure comprehensive coverage and response.
- Adhering to company policies, regulations, and industry standards related to security operations.
