Job description:
Join our dynamic team as a Greenhouse Worker, focusing on cucumber processing. Your duties will involve maintaining plant health, managing irrigation, and overseeing the harvest and packaging of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Adaptability to varying greenhouse conditions, such as temperature and humidity
- Knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to avoid damage to plants
- Eagerness to learn and improve harvesting skills through on-the-job training and experience.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
- Basic understanding of plant health and signs of disease or pest infestation
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
- Communicating any feedback or suggestions for improving harvesting processes.
- Participating in training sessions or workshops to improve harvesting techniques and skills.
- Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during harvesting activities.
- Using appropriate harvesting tools such as pruning shears or knives to carefully cut cucumbers from the vine.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
