Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to avoid damage to plants
- Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed, such as pruning or cleaning
- Ability to work efficiently to meet production quotas
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Patience and careful handling to avoid bruising or damaging harvested cucumbers
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing harvesting tools and equipment after use.
- Identifying and addressing any problems or challenges related to cucumber harvesting.
- Communicating with supervisors or team leaders regarding harvesting progress and any issues encountered.
- Keeping accurate records of harvested cucumbers, including quantities and varieties.
- Sorting cucumbers based on size, color, and quality standards.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
