Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated Greenhouse Worker for cucumber production. The role involves daily care of cucumber plants, including planting, watering, and pest management to ensure high-quality produce.
Requirements:
- Adaptability to varying greenhouse conditions, such as temperature and humidity
- Environmental consciousness to minimize waste and promote sustainable farming practices
- Knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to avoid damage to plants
- Basic understanding of plant health and signs of disease or pest infestation
- Commitment to reliability and consistency in fulfilling assigned harvesting tasks
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the overall success and productivity of the greenhouse operation.
- Stacking and organizing packed containers for storage or shipping.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the greenhouse workspace.
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
- Inspecting cucumber plants for ripe fruits ready for harvesting.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
