Job description:
Join our dynamic team as a Greenhouse Worker, focusing on cucumber processing. Your duties will involve maintaining plant health, managing irrigation, and overseeing the harvest and packaging of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Attention to cleanliness to maintain hygiene standards during harvesting activities
- Attention to detail in harvesting ripe cucumbers
- Respect for plants and agricultural practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak harvesting seasons
- Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed, such as pruning or cleaning
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
- Assisting with other greenhouse tasks as needed, such as watering, pruning, or pest control.
- Keeping accurate records of harvested cucumbers, including quantities and varieties.
- Cleaning and sanitizing harvesting tools and equipment after use.
- Using appropriate harvesting tools such as pruning shears or knives to carefully cut cucumbers from the vine.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
