Job description:
We are looking for a Greenhouse Worker to join our team and assist with cucumber cultivation. Responsibilities include planting, pruning, and harvesting cucumbers to ensure optimal growth and yield.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to avoid damage to plants
- Commitment to reliability and consistency in fulfilling assigned harvesting tasks
- Ability to work efficiently to meet production quotas
- Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed, such as pruning or cleaning
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak harvesting seasons
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with other greenhouse tasks as needed, such as watering, pruning, or pest control.
- Packing harvested cucumbers into crates, boxes, or containers for transport.
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
- Keeping accurate records of harvested cucumbers, including quantities and varieties.
- Removing any debris or foreign objects from harvested cucumbers.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
