Job description:
Looking for an experienced Greenhouse Worker to manage cucumber cultivation. Responsibilities encompass all stages of cucumber growth, from planting and fertilizing to harvesting and quality control.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to avoid damage to plants
- Eagerness to learn and improve harvesting skills through on-the-job training and experience.
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled work hours
- Eagerness to work efficiently and contribute to the success of the cucumber harvesting operation
- Initiative to report any issues or concerns with crop quality or greenhouse conditions
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with supervisors or team leaders regarding harvesting progress and any issues encountered.
- Packing harvested cucumbers into crates, boxes, or containers for transport.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork mindset while working with colleagues.
- Using appropriate harvesting tools such as pruning shears or knives to carefully cut cucumbers from the vine.
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
