Job description:
Looking for an experienced Greenhouse Worker to manage cucumber cultivation. Responsibilities encompass all stages of cucumber growth, from planting and fertilizing to harvesting and quality control.
Requirements:
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled work hours
- Eagerness to learn and improve harvesting skills through on-the-job training and experience.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
- Physical stamina for repetitive tasks
- Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers
Responsibilities:
- Sorting cucumbers based on size, color, and quality standards.
- Packing harvested cucumbers into crates, boxes, or containers for transport.
- Working efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines.
- Monitoring cucumber plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting any issues.
- Communicating any feedback or suggestions for improving harvesting processes.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
