Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers
- Patience and careful handling to avoid bruising or damaging harvested cucumbers
- Adaptability to varying greenhouse conditions, such as temperature and humidity
- Attention to detail in harvesting ripe cucumbers
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with other greenhouse tasks as needed, such as watering, pruning, or pest control.
- Following instructions and guidelines provided by greenhouse management or supervisors.
- Adapting to changing environmental conditions or seasonal variations in cucumber production.
- Sorting cucumbers based on size, color, and quality standards.
- Stacking and organizing packed containers for storage or shipping.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
