Job description:
We are hiring a Greenhouse Worker with a focus on cucumber processing. Key tasks include monitoring plant growth, implementing pest control measures, and coordinating the harvest and shipment of cucumbers.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail in harvesting ripe cucumbers
- Safety awareness to prevent accidents or injuries while handling plants and equipment
- Patience and careful handling to avoid bruising or damaging harvested cucumbers
- Punctuality and reliability for scheduled work hours
- Commitment to reliability and consistency in fulfilling assigned harvesting tasks
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the overall success and productivity of the greenhouse operation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the greenhouse workspace.
- Removing any debris or foreign objects from harvested cucumbers.
- Labeling containers with relevant information such as harvest date and variety.
- Following instructions and guidelines provided by greenhouse management or supervisors.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Intermediate English.
- Age up to 60 years.
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
