Job description:
Are you organized and detail-oriented? We need a Warehouse Worker to contribute to a fast-paced environment. You'll play a vital role in receiving, storing, and shipping a diverse range of products.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all warehouse operations.
- It is important that the candidate is physically fit and can be on their feet for the entire shift.
- It is important that the candidate is organized and can plan their work independently.
- The candidate should possess effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
- Prior experience in a role requiring problem-solving and decision-making skills is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming products against documentation, identifying any deviations and notifying supervisors for resolution.
- Offload shipments, check products for damage during transport, and report any problems found.
- Contribute to a safe and functional work environment by keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- Pick and verify outgoing shipments according to customer orders, ensuring correct items and quantities are included.
- Perform inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and implement stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement within the warehouse, aiming for increased efficiency.
- Organize and store products in designated areas to ensure efficient access and optimize warehouse space usage.
- Prioritize safety by using proper techniques and equipment, and reporting any potential hazards within the warehouse.
- Utilize warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to safely transport, stack, and access products within the warehouse.
Additional requirements
- A valid passport for at least 2 years.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Age up to 60 years.
- Diploma/certificate (optional).
Accommodation and support
You will be met at the airport or bus station. Afterward, you will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or house, depending on what the employer rents for the workers. You will be provided with work clothes for free and transportation to work.
